The Mater Heart Run
Many needy children have benefited from heart operations which have been made possible through funds raised from the Mater Heart Run.
This year the good cause event will be held on Saturday 15th May 2010 at the Nyayo Stadium from 7am.
Registration is easy. Just buy a Mater Heart Run 2010 T-shirt which are available at the Mater Hospital, The Mater Development House clinic, Capital FM offices, all major supermarkets, malls and churches.
Adults T-shirts – Medium and above- shs1000
Children – small and below - shs600
Caps - shs300
Wristbands - shs200
Companies can sponsor The Mater Heart Run 2010 by opting for any sponsorship categories such as forming teams to walk or run on behalf of their company.
Last year saw 23,000 participants raise kshs19million which meant that a total of 128 children had their heart defects corrected.
